Frequently Asked Questions | The Ink Tank Graphics & Signs

Have a question that's not listed below, or would like elaboration on an answer?  Please contact us with any questions you might have.

  • How does The Ink Tank compare to other local print shops? Back to list

Local print shops operate on volume, so they can't give you the same care and attention that we do. While we have the capacity to oversee large print runs in-house, our reputation depends on providing exceptional quality no matter the size of the job.

  • What are The Ink Tank's scope of capabilities? Back to list
As a turnkey print and graphic design services company, we offer custom graphic design from concept to completion. We deliver signage and large-format printing in, literally, hundreds of formats: banners, billboards, vehicle wraps, floor decals, vinyl clings, floor decals, truck fleet murals, point-of-purchase laminates and more.
  • Is The Ink Tank pricing competitive? Back to list

Having our presses on-site and our print production experts in-house allows us to keep our costs down moreso than other print shops. There's no lag time between print checks and approval. Saving time will always save you money.

  • Do you offer design services if I don't have my own artwork? Back to list
We have award-winning graphic designers on staff ready to work with you to bring your vision to life, then prepare the file for final output.  Our team of dedicated professionals pride themselves on capturing the "essence" of what you do.
  • What file formats work best to optimize the quality of the print? Back to list
If the file was created in a vector program such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw, .AI, .PDF, or .EPS files are always optimal.  As for photos or any type of bitmap, it is important that the size of the digital image be the same size you intend it to be printed, as well as at least 150 dpi resolution, and should be saved as a .jpeg, .tiff, or .pdf.  We do accept Photoshop .PSD files if you would like us to edit and/or optimize  your graphic art.
  • What is a standard turnaround time for a print/graphics order? Back to list

The production time will depend on the type of project and quantity of the order, but our standard turnaround time from proof approval is 5-7 business days.

  • Will The Ink Tank also help me package and ship my order? Back to list

Print packaging is part of our finishing services. We will safely wrap your print project to protect the final product and coordinate shipping around the world for your convenience.
